Aside from the local media organizations (like here, here, and here) and journalist blogs (like here and here), the statement made by the Center for Media Freedom and Responsibility (CMFR) was carried by international press freedom organizations like the International Freedom of Expression Exchange. Media Helping Media, an international site tackling issues involving the media around , also has the CMFR statement as its main story since yesterday. Media Helping Media is created "to provide an area where media (organizations) that need help can ask for it and those able to offer help can respond." According to the site's editor David Brewer, the site has been set up to "help media (organizations) in transition and post-conflict countries achieve financial sustainability and editorial independence."Readers can put in their comments to the statement posted in the site after the basic sign-up process.
